"Musavat" demands to release youth activists
“Musavat" party issued a statement of protest against the arrest of young activists Bayram Mammadov and Giyasov Ibrahimov. The statement, in particular, noted that the actions by authorities cause a heavy blow to the international image of the country. The party demands the immediate release of youth activists who were arrested for political reasons. The authors of the statement believe,it is trange that first the young men disappeared, and subsequently they were arrested for drugs.
"There is reason to believe that the arrest is due to the slogan written on the pedestal of a monument," reads the statement. The talk is about the inscription on the monument to Heydar Aliyev. -05D-
