Nakhchivan missiles are able to destroy any target in Armenia
Baku / 16.05.18 / Turan: Long-range missiles deployed in Nakhchivan can destroy any enemy military target, stated Ilham Aliyev, speaking to the public in Nakhchivan. Aliyev noted that a lot of work has been done on Nakhchivan security issues.
"A lot of work is being done to strengthen the military potential of Nakhchivan. The armed forces of Azerbaijan are equipped with the most advanced weapons and equipment. Practically all kinds or most kinds of modern technology are sent to Nakhchivan," the head of state said. Further, Aliyev stressed that the Nakhchivan army can stop any provocation of the enemy and conduct a successful counteroffensive operation.
"Long-range missiles deployed in Nakhchivan can destroy any military goal of the enemy," he said in conclusion. It should be noted that the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan have various types of missiles, including the systems "Tochka-U", "Smerch" and the recently acquired "Polonaise" in Belarus. The flight range of the latter is 200 km. The distance from the border of Nakhchivan to the capital of Armenia is 72 km. -02D-
