National Council prepares for rally

Baku/16.09.19/ Turan: The National Council is preparing for the rally on September 28 and hopes that the authorities will authorize it in one of the three declared places said the head of the Mejlis of the Popular Front Party, Nureddin Mammadli.

According to him, the National Council asked to authorize the action in one of three places: on the square in front of the May 28 metro station, at the Tofig Bahramov stadium, and in the park in front of the Narimanov metro station.

The slogans of the upcoming action are: Karabakh, the problem of political prisoners, the use of compulsory health insurance, the issuance of documents to residential buildings that do not have them, the abolition of the limit on gas and electricity, the restoration of cash benefits for children.

When asked whether the opposition would go to an unauthorized rally, Mammadli said that this issue has not yet been discussed. He also expressed hope that representatives of other opposition forces would participate in the rally.
