NATO Days have opened in Baku
Baku/21.11.22/Turan: NATO Days have started in Baku on Monday under the Individual Partnership Programme between Azerbaijan and NATO.
The country's Ministry of Defence reports that the NATO delegation is led by Rear Admiral Gunnstein Brusdal, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Allied Forces in Europe.
He was received on November 21 by Kerim Veliyev, chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.
"Bilateral cooperation within the framework of various NATO programmes as well as joint actions in case of existing and possible threats were discussed," it was reported.
Rear Admiral Brustal emphasized that Azerbaijan is a proven NATO partner and noted Baku's role in the struggle against terrorism and the participation of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in international peacekeeping missions. -02D-
