NATO Secretary General is concerned about growing tensions between Armenia and Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan should not glorify Ramil Safarov, who committed the brutal murder, said at the meeting with students of Yerevan State University on September 6, NATO Secretary General, Anders Fogh Rasmussen.
"The conflict should not be resumed between the two countries, the tension should diminish, rather than increase. Caucasus region has great potential," said Rasmussen.
Responding to questions, Rasmussen said that during his visit to Azerbaijan, he is going to say Aliyev that this decision causes concern and harms to build trust. "This terrible tragic accident is a crime, and should not be praised," he said.
At the same time, he noted that the parties to the Karabakh conflict should not go back to confrontation. Official part of the visit of Rasmussen to Baku will begin in the morning on September 7. -02D-
