New structure of the Ministry of Education approved
Baku/20.12.21/Turan: On December 20, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, signed a decree on approval of the new structure of the Ministry of Education. The document presupposes the abolition of district education departments. On their basis, regional offices are being created. The territories of their supervision practically coincide with the borders of the economic regions of Azerbaijan.
In particular, Absheron-Khyzi regional administration, Mountain-Shirvan regional administration, Ganja-Dashkesan regional administration, Gazakh-Tovuz regional administration, Guba-Khachmaz regional administration, Central Aran regional administration, Mil-Mugan regional administration, Sheki-Zagatala regional administration are being created. administration, East Zangezur regional administration, Shirvan-Salyan regional administration, Karabakh regional administration. The structure of the Ministry of Education also includes the State Agency for Vocational Education.
