Baku / 11.21.18 / Turan: On Wednesday, President Ilham Aliyev arrived in the capital of Turkmenistan on an official visit. According to Turkmen media reports, the Azerbaijani leader is planning to visit the "Halk Рakydasy" Memorial Complex, the capital's Olympic city and the National Museum of the Turkmen Carpet. On November 22, in Ashgabat an official meeting of Ilham Aliyev will take place and Turkmen-Azerbaijani high-level talks will be held.
Presidents Berdymukhamedov and Aliyev are expected to exchange views on key aspects of the Turkmen-Azerbaijani interaction, as well as regional and international policy issues of mutual interest.
At the talks, much attention will be paid to the intensification and diversification of trade and economic relations, cooperation in the fuel and energy sector, transport and logistics, as well as in the scientific, humanitarian and cultural fields, sports and tourism. Following the summit meeting, it is planned to sign a package of bilateral documents. -02D-

Independent journalist Khanum Mustafayeva was unable to leave Azerbaijan on January 11. At the Baku airport, she was told that the ban was imposed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan. However, the reasons for restricting the journalist's rights were not explained to her.
