The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko arrived on an official visit in Baku late in the evening on July 13.
He was met by Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyyubov. From the airport, Poroshenko went to the residence assigned to him. Official meetings and talks with the President of Ukraine begin on the morning of July 14.
In addition to talks with President Ilham Aliyev Poroshenko is expected to meet and negotiate with Prime Minister Arthur Rasizadeh and Speaker of the Parliament Oktay Asadov. -02D-

On the evening of February 5, it was reported that journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi had been arrested. She had been a presenter on the Toplum TV channel for several years. After a criminal case was initiated against the channel in March 2024 and nearly all of its staff were arrested, Beylargizi was questioned multiple times.
