Oktay Asadov to Attend President Rouhani Inaguration
Oktay Asadov, speaker of Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan will attend the Oath-Taking Ceremony for Iran's new presidents Hasan Rouhani on August 4, according to IRNA news agency.
Javanshir Akhundov, the Azerbaijan Ambassador to Iran said on Wednesday at a meeting with the chair of Iranian Parliament Mousavi, that the visit would have a positive effect on the expansion of bilateral relations, especially on parliamentary cooperation.
Mousavi referred to the importance of parliamentary relations and important role of parliamentary friendship groups in developing and strengthening ties and said that given the historical, cultural and religious commonalities provide mutual interests between the two countries.
