On December 18, Armenians must return the villages of Zangelan captured in the 90s
Baku / 17.12.20 / Turan: On December 18, before 17:00 pm, the Armenians must return to Azerbaijan the part of the Zangelan region that remains under occupation, adjacent to the city of Kafan, Mayor of Kafan ,Gevorg Parsyan, informed the Armenian media about it.
According to him, the corresponding order was passed by the Armenian Defense Ministry. He also announced the deployment of Russian peacekeepers in Kafan. “According to my information, their main mission will be to ensure the safety of the roads,” the mayor said.
In the early 90s, the Armenian Armed Forces committed aggression on the part of Kafan and occupied eight villages of Zangelan, adjacent to the Kafan region of Armenia and directly to the city of Kafan. These villages occupied a mountain plateau above Kafan and the city's airport, which is causing panic in Armenia. -02D-

On January 17, the Khatai District Court of Baku rejected the requests for house arrest for journalists Aynur Elgünesh and Natig Djavadly, employees of Meydan TV, their lawyers, Elchin Sadigov and Zibeyda Sadigova reported to Turan news agency. According to the lawyers, there are no legal or procedural grounds for keeping the journalists in detention. The journalists themselves stated that the criminal case against them had been fabricated to punish them for their professional activities. The defense intends to appeal the court's refusal to transfer the journalists to house arrest.
