Organizers of Opposition Rally Appeal to Mayor`s Office
The organizers of the rally of the National Council of Democratic Forces sent a notice to the Baku City Executive Power. Turan was informed about this by the head of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA) Ali Kerimli.
The notification was sent on behalf of the lawyer Namizad Safarov, the deputy chairman of the Musavat party Tofig Yagublu, the human rights activist Ogtay Gyulaliyev, and the head of the youth committee of PFPA Ilham Huseyn.
The rally is scheduled for 15:00 on April 9 at the Mahsul stadium in the Yasamal district under the slogans: “No corruption!”, “No monarchy!”, and “Freedom to political prisoners!”
Within three days, the Mayor's Office has to respond to the organizers. -03B-
