Participants of Saturday"s action are fined large sums
On January 28 the Nasimi Court fined the participants of Saturdays action of protest protest: Yagublu Nargi, a member of the youth organization of "Musavat" party (is fined 5000 AZN), and Zaur Gurbanli ( is fined 550 AZN), a member of the civil movement «NİDA". Commenting on the court decision Zaur Gurbanli said that he would not pay it. "First, I do not have this amount, but even if I had, I would not pay," he said, adding that it is necessary to make this law "dead."
On 26 January an action of protest took place in the park "Sahil" and in the neighborhood area under the slogan: "Police, get away your gun!"
The action participants expressed support for the protests in Ismailli. The police brutally dispersed the protesters, arresting more than 60 people. Some were subjected to administrative detention, some were fined. -16D04-
