Pashinyan called on CSTO countries not to sell arms to Azerbaijan
Baku / 28.11.19 / Turan: CSTO has all the necessary means to prevent the escalation of the situation around Nagorno-Karabakh, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council in Bishkek.
“In order to prevent a possible escalation of the CSTO countries based on the interests of maintaining security, Azerbaijan’s new requests for arms should be left unanswered,” Pashinyan said.
According to him, Armenia is ready for a constructive dialogue on a peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
“We will continue negotiations within the framework of the format of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group,” the Armenian media quoted Pashinyan as saying. -02D-
