Pashinyan urged to intensify work on normalization of relations with Turkey
Baku/07.07.22/Turan: Following the July 1 meeting in Vienna, the special representatives of Armenia and Turkey agreed to open the border between Armenia and Turkey for the citizens of the third countries. Besides, there is an agreement on air transportation between the two countries. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the governmental session on July 7.
He urged Armenia's appropriate agencies to cooperate with their Turkish counterparts to thus implement the political agreement.
"My task is to work in a coordinated manner to implement the agreements reached as soon as possible," Pashinyan said.
To recall, the Armenian leadership has previously stressed the need for a complete normalization of relations between the two countries and the establishment of diplomatic relations.
This issue was also discussed by Pashinyan during a telephone conversation with the Russian President on July 6. -02D-
