Patrushev Stressed Importance of Military-Technical Cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan
Baku / 09.09.19 / Turan: Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev discussed in Baku with Azerbaijani Security Council Secretary Ramil Usubov the fight against terrorism and extremism, as well as cooperation in cyber security. This was reported by the press service of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.
"During expert consultations with the participation of representatives of several ministries and departments of the two countries, special attention was paid to improving legislation in the field of combating terrorism and extremism, as well as cooperation in the field of ensuring information security," TASS reports.
Patrushev also congratulated Usubov on his appointment as Secretary of the Security Council of Azerbaijan and expressed confidence in continuing close ties between the two countries through the apparatus of security councils, law enforcement agencies and law enforcement agencies.
Patrushev noted the good pace of economic and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries, stressed the importance of implementing joint infrastructure projects on the Russian-Azerbaijani border and the further development of military-technical cooperation. -02D-
