Property of persons detained in Turkey seized
The General Prosecutor of Turkey sanctioned the arrest of 42 people detained by the police on charges of corruption, money laundering, and smuggling. These individuals are accused of creating a criminal association, falsification of documents, and many other crimes.
On December 19, the prosecutor's office seized the property of 29 of those arrested, among them is Zarrabi Rza - an ethnic Azeri, husband of famous Turkish singer, Ebru Gundesh. Also among those whose property was seized, is the son of the Interior Minister of Turkey, Salih Caglayan, children and two other ministers.
The property a dozen large firms, companies and financial institutions of the country was also seized. -05D-

On Wednesday, a group of famous footballers arrived in Baku. Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba visited several public and cultural sites in the capital and took part in a meeting with football fans at the Crystal Hall.
