Public Chamber of Nakhchivan Discussed Arrested Activists
The Nakhchivan branch of the Public Chamber held a regular meeting on October 28, which discussed the political situation in the region.
At the meeting it was decided to admit 23 new members. The meeting was attended by the PFPA leader Ali Kerimli on the phone, reported the regional correspondent of Turan.
Participants of the meeting raised the issue of youth activists arrested and demanded their immediate release, condemned the police abuse of women participating in the protest on October 20, and also demanded an end to the pressure on the free press. -26B-
