Baku/03.09.22/Turan: On September 3, Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the Kremlin said. “The current situation in the South Caucasus was discussed in detail. They noted  the importance of coordinated efforts to ensure stability and security on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and to establish economic and transport ties in the region.

In this context, the intention to consistently implement the fundamental trilateral agreements of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia dated November 9, 2020, January 11 and November 26, 2021 was confirmed.

Ilham Aliyev informed about the meeting held in Brussels on August 31 with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and President of the European Council Charles Michel. Some practical issues on the bilateral agenda were also considered, including  in trade, economic, energy and humanitarian fields,” the message reads. --0--
