Yerevan accused Baku of intending to disrupt the peace process
Baku/03.09.22/Turan: Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, in his statement on Saturday, accused Azerbaijan of "insincerity" and "the desire to disrupt the peace process."
“The point of view of the Armenian side regarding the five points proposed by Azerbaijan is unchanged. There is nothing unacceptable in the proposals submitted by Azerbaijan on March 10, 2022. Another thing is that these proposals do not touch upon all issues of the Armenia-Azerbaijan comprehensive peace agenda. With our response, handed over to the co-chairing countries of the OSCE Minsk Group, we have supplemented the agenda and, therefore, on this basis, we are ready to continue the peace talks.
Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan during the latest discussions in Brussels again confirmed it.
Ignoring this point of view or trying not to listen to it gives the Armenian side reason to doubt the sincerity of Azerbaijan's intentions to achieve peace. Moreover, the continued arbitrary interpretations of the negotiations that do not correspond to reality and the evasion of the implementation of agreements make it possible to think that Azerbaijan intends to disrupt the peace process and, through the use of force, continue its policy of ethnic cleansing,” the statement said. -- 0--
