Police detains two couriers with 20 kg of drugs
In Yardimly region of Azerbaijan, 20 kg of drugs and psychotropic preparations were found and seized from drug couriers, the regional group of the Interior Ministry's press service reported.
Police officers of Yardimly region exposed the persons who delivered contraband from Iran for further sale in the capital.
Azerbaijani citizens Elvin Novruzov and previously convicted Alovsat Mustafayev were detained. About 20 kg of heroin, marijuana and methamphetamine purchased from an unknown citizen of Iran were found in their possession.
A criminal case has been initiated and the detainees have been arrested.
