Putins meeting with Pashinyan will be held on May 14 in Sochi
Moscow / 11.05.18 / Turan: The Russian president will hold the first meeting with the new Armenian prime minister in Sochi on May 14, as part of the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council with the participation of the leaders of the five countries.
In Sochi, President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan will arrive in Sochi to attend the meeting, the presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said at a briefing on May 11.
Putin will hold separate talks with all guests. The meeting between Pashinyan and Putin will be their first.
"This is the first contact, it is in itself important that they get acquainted," Ushakov said.
In his opinion, it is unlikely that Putin and Pashinyan at the first talks will immediately discuss all topics in depth. Some topics will be clarified, including within the framework of Pashinyan's statements on the Eurasian Economic Community and the Collective Security Treaty Organization, Ushakov said, referring to Pashinyan's critical remarks to EEC. -02D-
