The mudflows caused serious damage to Ismailly
Baku/11.05.18/Turan: Serious damage to mountain and foothill villages of Ismayilli region was caused by hail and mudflows at night on May 11. Hail caused damage to private farms, sowing areas, and debris flows washed away the roads in the villages and between them. Mudflow also demolished the automobile bridge in the village of Sulut, which broke off communication with several villages.
According to the executive power of Ismayilli region, the hail and mudslides caused damage to the settlements of Basgal and Lahij, as well as the villages of Kurdiuvan, Muja, Khankendi, Sulut, Zernava, Kekhnya Dahar, Akhan. According to the resident of the village of Muja Tahir Babayev, mudflow flooded the entrance to the village.
At present, the commission for emergency situations calculates the damage caused to the Ismayilli region. The district road maintenance department is trying to restore the bridge, located on 8 km of the highway Baskal-Sulut. -08B-

In 2017, the Sumgayit City Court ruled to evict the Aliyev family—refugees from Gubadli (Akper, Sarvinaz, Ramil, and two other family members)—from an illegally occupied apartment in the 12th microdistrict, Building 7A, Apartment 35.
