Ramiz Mehdiyev Ignores Accusations, Does Not Resign
Baku / 24.08.20 / Turan: The former head of the Presidential Administration, and now the President of the National Academy of Sciences Ramiz Mehdiyev, has decided to ignore the accusations made against him and does not intend to resign. So, he did not even go on vacation, as some media reported in the morning.
"We inform you that Academician Ramiz Mehdiyev did not go on vacation, but continues to work," the press service of the Academy said.
Recall that after the scandal with his granddaughter's wedding during the quarantine, pro-government media, MPs and individual members of the ruling party were tasked with criticizing and accusing the once all-powerful Ramiz Mehdiyev, demanding that he resign. Apparently, the former head of the Presidential Administration does not want to retire so easily. -02D-
