Reception in British Embassy in Honor of Queen
The British Embassy organized a reception at the Marriott Hotel on June 10, the birthday of Queen Elizabeth II.
Ambassador Irfan Siddig, welcoming the guests, touched upon the continuation of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of energy, economy, tourism and education. According to him, London wants to further develop these relations.
In turn, the Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Mahmud Mammadguliyev pointed to the deep historical roots of the bilateral relations.
He emphasized the advances in the development of the bilateral relations in many areas, where cooperation has acquired special importance, including the oil and gas industry.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Olympic champion in London 2012, boxer Nicola Adams noted that he gladly takes part in the first European Games in Baku. -16D-
