Yesterday the Russian Embassy in Baku hosted a reception on the occasion of the state holiday - the Day of Russia.
Welcoming the participants of the event, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation Vladimir Dorohin said about the relations of strategic partnership between Russia and Azerbaijan, which is based on mutual respect and friendship, he said.
Speaking of congratulations on behalf of the Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfaz Garayev noted the role of Russia in the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict. Russia, as a co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, can assist in the resolution of the Karabakh conflict, said Garaev.-06D-
