Resolution of the State of California on Nagorno-Karabakh has no legal force
Official Baku condemns adoption of California State Senate resolution recognizing the "independence" of Nagorno-Karabakh. This decision has declarative in nature and has no legal force, said today at a press briefing, Foreign Ministry spokesman Elman Abdullayev. The California Senate on August 27 adopted a resolution recognizing "Nagorno Karabakh Republic." The resolution calls on the President and Congress the United States to "recognize and support the Nagorno Karabakh." This decision , in fact, is a call to support the occupation of Azerbaijani lands. In addition, this step casts doubt on the integrity of the senators who voted for the resolution because of the financial support of the Armenian lobby, said Abdullayev.-06D-
