Rouhani in Yerevan Calls for Peaceful Solution to Karabakh Problem
Arriving in Yerevan on an official visit, the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani touched the Karabakh issue.
At a joint press conference with the President of Armenia he said the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict has no military solutions.
“For us, Armenia and Azerbaijan are friendly countries, and we hope that we will see the establishment of peace and stability in the region. This will benefit the entire region. The issue has no military solution, and we would like to see it resolved peacefully,” Rouhani said. -02D-
