Russia extradited a member of illegal armed groups to Azerbaijan
Baku/29.07.20/Turan: On July 28, the Russian authorities extradited to Azerbaijan Shukurov Mehdi Aflatun oglu, an Azerbaijani accused of participating in illegal armed groups in a number of foreign countries under the nickname "Mukhtar", the message of the State Security Service of Azerbaijan.
Shukurov was charged under the Articles 12.3, 214-3.1 (terrorist training outside Azerbaijan) and 12.1, 279.1 (participation in armed groups outside Azerbaijan) of the Criminal Code.
Previously, he was put on the international wanted list. After appearing on the territory of Russia, he was detained and, according to the agreement on mutual legal assistance, was extradited to Azerbaijan. The criminal investigation is ongoing. -02D-
