Russia hopes that the contradictions between Baku and Tehran are temporary
Baku/29.03.23/Turan: Moscow is ready to contribute to the normalization of relations between Baku and Tehran, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated on Wednesday in Moscow after a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Abdollahian.
"We hope that the current tensions in relations between Baku and Tehran are temporary and will be overcome as soon as possible. This will also contribute to the promotion of trilateral cooperation with the participation of Russia, Iran and Azerbaijan, including in the implementation of projects within the framework of the North-South international transport corridor.
We are ready to help our friends in solving the existing problems," Lavrov said. ---02B---
