During the exercises will be worked out actions of strike forces of flotilla within the rocket ships as part of "Tatarstan", "Dagestan", small missile ships "Grad Sviyazhsk", "Great Ustyug" with the assistance of support vessels," said the Russian Defense Ministry.
During the exercises, the fleet will develop actions in crisis situations, "presenting a threat to the military security of the country, including those of a terrorist nature," under the conditions close to the fighting conditions. On October 8, 2015, these same ships took part in military operations on firing missiles on the territory of Syria. Twenty six rockets "Caliber" were fired from the four ships at a distance of over 1,500 kilometers. The launches were made from the Iranian sector of the sea. -02D-
