Russian peacekeeper killed in Nagorno-Karabakh
One Russian serviceman was killed and two injured in Nagorno-Karabakh, TASS reported, citing the Russian Defence Ministry.
The Ministry said that the BTR-82 of the Russian peacekeeping contingent had veered off a mountain road.
"On 11 December 2023, as a result of an accident on the mountain road of the BTR-82 of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, one serviceman of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation was killed, two received moderate and serious injuries," the release said.
The military department clarified that with the participation of the Azerbaijani side, all necessary medical assistance was provided to the injured peacekeepers. "The injured servicemen were airlifted by the Russian peacekeeping contingent to an in-patient medical facility for further treatment," the Defence Ministry added. -0-
