On 28 November the Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Olga Vasilyeva will visit Azerbaijan to attend the alumni conference of Azerbaijani and Russian universities. According to Russian sources, Vasilyev also hold meetings with the Minister of Education of Azerbaijan Mikail Jabbarov and other officials. In Azerbaijan operate two branches of Russian universities - Moscow State University and the First Moscow State Medical University named after I.M.Sechenova.-06D--

On the evening of February 5, it was reported that journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi had been arrested. She had been a presenter on the Toplum TV channel for several years. After a criminal case was initiated against the channel in March 2024 and nearly all of its staff were arrested, Beylargizi was questioned multiple times. According to relatives, the police conducted a search of her apartment.
