Russia’s Foreign Ministry: OSCE MG preparing meeting on Karabakh with Baku and Yerevan
Moscow confirms its readiness to assist in the negotiation process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the topic is still on the agenda, stated on Friday, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Maria Zakharova. "We have repeatedly stressed that the fate of Nagorno-Karabakh should be solved through negotiations, she said. We reaffirm our readiness as an international mediator with the OSCE Minsk Group to provide assistance to all parties," reports TASS.
"On the agenda of the Foreign Ministry, contacts at the level of the Ministry priority is given to this topic," added Zakharova. Meeting of co-chairs of the Minsk Group on Nagorno-Karabakh can be held in the coming weeks, she said, commenting on the possibility of holding a meeting with the participation of the OSCE Minsk Group. " Active work is going on currently on this issue, and the decision to hold the exact date has not been made, she said. The talk is about the next few weeks."

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) today issued five rulings on applications from Azerbaijan. The case of "Afgan Mammadov v. Azerbaijan" concerned the complainant's exclusion from the Bar Association. Mammadov was expelled based on a complaint filed by a colleague, which he considered unjust. The ECHR ruled that Mammadov's rights had been violated and ordered Azerbaijan to pay him €5,000 in compensation for moral damage and €1,000 to cover legal costs.

During the ongoing COP29 climate conference in Baku on November 14, a group of activists staged a protest condemning Russia's aggression against Ukraine. The activists also denounced countries that supply oil and weapons to nations waging aggressive wars. The protest featured placards with slogans such as: "From fossil fuels to peace!", "End war crimes!", "Punish the aggressor!", and "Phase out fossil fuel use to achieve peace!" among others.
