On 15 February, the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Torborn Yangland, called the lawyers for Ilgar Mamedov, the arrested leader of REAL.
Yangland was interested in the course of investigation, the health of Mamedov, and expressed concern with the case, according to informed sources. In turn, the lawyers informed the Secretary General of the measures taken to protect the rights and interests of Mamedov.
The leader of REAL, Ilgar Mamedov, is also a director of the Council of Europe’s Baku School of Political Research.-02В-
