Separatist leader announced that Agdam road is opening
Baku/23.08.23/Turan: The Armenian newspaper "Graparak" reported that on August 22, the leader of the Karabakh separatists, Araik Harutyunyan, held a meeting of the Security Council, where he said that a decision had been adopted "to start trading" on the Aghdam road.
It is expected that in the near future, Harutyunyan's supporters, represented by the "militia" under the command of Karen Matevosyan, will dismantle the concrete barriers installed on this road.
Harutyunyan added that "construction materials, diesel, medicines will be delivered along the Aghdam road, and food will be imported through Lachin by Russian peacekeepers."
Also, Harutyunyan said that at the next stage it is planned to discuss the issue of gas and electricity, which will also be supplied from Azerbaijan. In return, the Armenian side should open the Aghdam-Askeran-Khankyandi-Shusha road.
According to the newspaper, the former commander of the Karabakh forces Samvel Babayan also took part in the meeting of the Security Council. -02D-
