Baku / 19.11.20 / Turan: Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov received the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group on the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement I. Popov (Russia), S. Visconti (France) and E. Schaefer (USA), as well as the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office A. Kasprzyk in Moscow on November 18.
During the consultations, they discussed the situation developing in and around Nagorno-Karabakh after the Statement of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and the President of the Russian Federation on a complete ceasefire of November 9 this year. This was stated by the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The issues of coordination of further mediation efforts of the three countries were considered, the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
Details from the meeting were not disclosed. As a result, the co-chairs did not make any statements. Baku also does not comment on the results of the meeting.
Let us recall that earlier Washington and Paris actually called for a revision of the provisions of the Statement of November 9, expressing dissatisfaction with the unilateral actions of Moscow, which took on the role of the sole mediator in the settlement of the conflict in Karabakh. -06D-
