Session of National Council Scheduled for August 23
Friday, August 23 at 16:00 will start the session of the National Council of Democratic Forces (NCDF), whose agenda includes questions relating to the additional candidate for the presidency, and organizational issues, the press service of NCDF said.
Earlier the session was scheduled for 26 August. However, on August 22 at a meeting of the heads of committees and leadership apparatus of NCDF it was considered appropriate to conduct the session on August 23 in connection with the reduction of time for the approval of a new candidate and the collection of signatures for his registration.
In case if Rustam Ibrahimbekov - the main candidate is registered, the additional candidate will withdraw his candidacy.
In all likelihood, the additional candidate will be a member of the Forum of Azerbaijani Intelligentsia Jamil Hasanli. -06D -
