Baku/02.11.23/Turan: On Thursday, the Chairman of the Caucasus Muslim Board, Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade, received the newly appointed Jordanian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Omar Barakat Al-Nahar.
Referring to the recent events in the Middle East, Pashazade expressed "regret over the deaths of civilians, elderly people, women and children." He expressed his conviction that "very soon politicians will make 'wise decisions' to achieve peace."
During the meeting, other issues of mutual interest were also discussed, according to a message on the Caucasus Muslim Board's website. ---06B---
