Signing the Azerbaijani-Turkish documents

In the framework of the state visit of the  President Ilham Aliyev in Ankara on January 15, the sides signed intergovernmental agreements on combating terrorism and on cooperation in customs sphere.

According to Turkish media, an intergovernmental protocol providing for the exchange of information to combat money laundering and terrorist financing was signed.

Customs cooperation provides for the creation of joint structures with the participation of representatives of the customs authorities of the two countries. On this occasion a protocolwas also signed.

Finally, the two leaders signed a joint statement after a meeting of the Council on high strategic cooperation between the two  counries.-03D-
