On the evening of September 23 attack was made on Ali Gyulalyev, son of civil society activist of Azerbaijan. The incident occurred at about 22:00 in the village of NZS where Gyulalyevs live. Ali Gyulalyev left the house to go to a classmate for a textbook. When he returned, at about 100 meters from his house he was attacked by 4-5 young people; they beat him and inflicted two stab wounds - in the left arm and left thigh .
The bleeding boy was brought home passers-by. The depth of penetrating stab wounds is 12 cm. The young man was immediately hospitalized and underwent surgery. The investigation is ongoing in the 37th police station of Khatai. Motives of the crime are not yet known.
Some experts believe that the nature of the crime and not deadly wounds is a sign of some kind of warning.
O.Gyulalyev is the coordinator of staff of civil society "Kura" , who revealed the corruption in the aftermath of the floods in the Kura River area in 2010, and the earthquake in Zagatala region in 2012.
O.Gyulalyev is also a member of the Public Alliance "Azerbaijan has no political prisoners" and the head of the press center of Jamil Hasanli, the presidential candidate of the opposition National Council of Democratic Forces ( NCDF.)—06B--
