Structural and Personnel Changes in Military Prosecutor's Office Not Yet Touched upon Khanlar Veliyev
Baku / 09.07.20 / Turan: By orders of the Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev, serious changes were made to the structure and senior staff of the country's Military Prosecutor's Office.
The press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office informed that a number of new departments were created in the Military Prosecutor’s system and a number of former ones were liquidated.
Fuad Mammadov was appointed Deputy Military Prosecutor.
New heads of all departments of the Military Prosecutor’s Office, as well as military prosecutors of several districts, have also been appointed.
It is noteworthy that nothing was said about the Military Prosecutor. Until now, Khanlar Veliyev, an odious person who has been sharply criticized for numerous violations during the investigation of the Terter case, when several soldiers were tortured to death during the investigation into the betrayal in the army, which were later acquitted, has been occupying this position. Until now, Khanlar Veliyev and his subordinates have not answered for this. -02D-
