Tehran Offers Baku Its Experience in Combating Israel and US
During his visit to Baku, the Iranian Interior Minister Abdolreza Fazli held a meeting with the head of the State Security Service of Azerbaijan Madat Guliyev and the head of the Border Service Elchin Guliyev.
During the meeting with Madat Guliyev, the parties discussed the issues of regional security and exchange of experience.
Fazli accused Israel and the United States of provoking extremism in the region and expressed Iran’s readiness to share its experience in combating this to ensure security in Azerbaijan, IRNA reported.
In reply Madat Guliyev termed his recent visit to Iran as "satisfactory" and thanked Iran for its support of Azerbaijan, stressing that regional conflicts have arisen as a result of foreign interference.
In the meeting with Elchin Guliyev the Iranian Minister called for increased cross-border cooperation between the two countries. -02D-
