The Armenian government will consider a bill on recognition of independence of Nagorno Karabakh
Yerevan / 03.05.16 / Turan- ArmInfo: On 5c May the Armenian government will consider at the next meeting the bill "On recognition of the Artsakh Republic" submitted by opposition MPs Zaruhi Postanjyan and Hrant Bagratyan.
If the government approves the bill, it will be sent to Parliament. Previously Zaruhi Postanjyan had already twice presented a similar document, which was not adopted in the Parliament because of the position of the ruling majority, which considers that the recognition of Nagorno-Karabakh by Yerevan will put an end to peace talks to resolve the conflict. Earlier, the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has repeatedly threatened that in the event of hostilities Armenia will recognize the independence of Nagorno Karabakh. - 02D -
