The Azerbaijani Ambassador presented credentials to the President of India
Baku/06.01.23/Turan: The newly appointed Azerbaijani Ambassador to India Elchin Huseynli presented his credentials to the President of India Draupadi Murmu on January 5, the ambassador wrote about this in his microblog on the social network “X.”
"I had the honor to present my credentials to the President of India, Her Excellency Draupadi Murmu. I am proud and honored to serve my country as Ambassador to India and to work on the development of our relations," the Ambassador said.
Political relations between Azerbaijan and India are going through a difficult period, which is connected with New Delhi's support of Armenia's efforts against Azerbaijan in international organizations. In addition, India is becoming the main supplier of weapons to Armenia.
India, in turn, has claims against Azerbaijan in connection with Pakistan's support on the Kashmir issue. However, Azerbaijan's position on this issue is based on UN decisions. —06B-
