The chief of Russian railways discussed prospects of cooperation with I. Aliyev
Baku/06.05.19/Turan: On Monday, the President Ilham Aliyev and Russian Railways chief Oleg Belozerov discussed the development of bilateral cooperation.
According to the official statement, Aliyev expressed satisfaction with the cooperation with the Russian Railways and the opportunity to discuss prospects for bilateral relations. In particular, he welcomed the growth of transit cargo from Russia through Azerbaijan, and expressed confidence that this process will continue.
In turn, Oleg Belozerov called the growth in freight traffic by 25% in the first quarter of this year, a serious indicator strengthening the economy of the two countries. -02D-
