The Chief of the General Staff discussed regional security issues with the delegation of the US European Command
Baku/14.03.23 /Turan: On March 14, the Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, Kerim Veliyev, met with a delegation of the US European Command headed by Brigadier General Edward Vaughan.
During the meeting, the guests were informed about the situation in the liberated territories, about the current situation on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border and in Karabakh.
The sides experessed satisfaction with the results of bilateral cooperation in the military field.
Edward Vaughan stressed the importance of developing cooperation.
In conclusion, the sides exchanged views on the prospects of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United States and on regional security issues. -02D-
