Baku / 16.11.20 / Turan: Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan resigned on November 16, said the press secretary of the Foreign Ministry Anna Nagladyan.
A day earlier, his deputy, Shavarsh Kocharyan, resigned.
Today the head of the Military-Industrial Committee, the former chief of the General Staff of Armenia Artak Davtyan was dismissed.
Yesterday and today at least three deputies of the ruling faction of the parliament "My Step" resigned.
Ambassador-at-Large of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Karen Mirzoyan also wrote a statement on his resignation.
Speaking in parliament today, Nikol Pashinyan admitted: “Our approaches were, firstly, the principle of excluding war, and secondly, the principle of not an inch of the earth. We had to have a script and prepare. Our biggest mistake was that it seemed to us that we could drag out time indefinitely. We though that we could drag out time indefinitely, and it was our biggest mistake.
Let us clearly state that since 1998 there was the only one wording and factor in the negotiation process, that the goal of the negotiation process is the return of seven regions to Azerbaijan. The only specificity in the negotiation process was this,” he said.
According to him, a strategic mistake is that they did not make a decision in favor of one of these principles.
“We wanted to combine them. We had to choose. To be honest, we tried to make this choice, and honestly, we did. It is a different matter that for two and a half years they failed to ensure that this choice was guaranteed,” Nikol Pashinyan said.
Judging by the reaction of the deputies, Pashiyan himself does not understand the meaning of what he is saying. -02D-
