The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan are discussing the possibility of opening the airport in Khojaly
Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan arrived in Paris, where they will meet with the OSCE Minsk Group on the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement. A separate meeting between the ministers themselves without the co-chairs is not provided.
According to Armenian sources, the main topic of the talks is the possibility of opening the airport in the town of Khojaly. Baku intends to raise the issue of the settlement of Armenians from Syria in Karabakh.
Recall that the Armenian side expressed its readiness to start civil flights from the Khojaly airport soon. Azerbaijan declared its readiness to stop these flights by force, and the OSCE Minsk Group repeatedly urged the parties to refrain from actions that could enhance the escalation. -02D-
