The Karabakh issue was discussed at the Russian-Turkish inter-MFA consultations
Moscow/10.06.21/Turan: On June 8, Russian-Turkish inter-MFA consultations with Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Onal took place in Moscow. The Russian side was represented by the Deputy Foreign Ministers of the Russian Federation Vershinin, Grushko and Rudenko, the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.
The parties considered a set of issues of international assistance in resolving the Syrian, Nagorno-Karabakh, Palestinian-Israeli and other regional crises, the political aspects of their settlement based on international norms and the relevant UN Security Council resolutions, the report said.
A high assessment was given to the activities of the Russian-Turkish Joint Center for Controlling the Ceasefire and All Military Actions in the Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict Zone. It was agreed to continue work on unblocking economic and transport links in the Transcaucasus, the Russian Foreign Ministry notes.
The participants in the consultations agreed on the importance of maintaining the high dynamics of the Russian-Turkish political dialogue. -02D-

On January 13, the trial in the case of public activist Nijat Ibrahim continued in the Baku Serious Crimes Court under the chairmanship of Judge Aygun Gurbanova. The International Committee of Concerned Scholars (ICS) has appealed to the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, requesting his assistance in securing the release of the arrested researcher, Igbal Abilov.
