The leaders of the Turkic Council held a Friday prayer on an island near Istanbul
Baku/12.11.21/Turan: Leaders of the countries of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States (Turkic Council) We performed Friday prayers at the Fatin Ryushtu Zorlu Mosque on the island of "Democracy and Freedom" near Istanbul, where the VIII summit of the Turkic Council is being held under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The head of the Department of Religious Affairs of Turkey, Professor Ali Erbash, addressing the believers with a hutba, said: "Our common goal and prayers are offered in the name of peace, stability and health of all mankind."
After the prayer, the leaders of the Turkic-speaking states headed to the venue of the summit.
The summit will be attended by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and Secretary General of the Turkic Council Bagdad Amreyev are also among the participants of the summit, organized under the motto "Green Technologies and smart Cities in the digital Age".—0--

The short film “Fragments”, by Iqbal Abilov, a Talysh researcher arrested in Azerbaijan, was shown on November 14 at the Madrid Indie Film Festival (MADRIFF) in the capital of Spain. The film was presented by the author's cousin, renowned stand-up comedian Idrak Mirzali-zadeh, who read a letter from Abilov to the festival participants. In the message, Abilov expressed gratitude to everyone who helped make the project possible.
